Summary
[edit]DescriptionTulipa sarracenica.jpg |
Another offering from Paul Christian's Rare Plants nursery. He says in his catalogue "Wild source material first collected in 1960 by P. Delaigue near St. Andrea, a locality now under concrete" and "Garden conditions are fine for this excellent neo-tulip and an annual lifting is not essential as it tolerates summer moisture well." Not sure what a 'neo-tulip' is but it's clearly worth growing. It's about 18ins high. |
