Description Tucano-toco ou Tucunuçu (Ramphastos toco). Maior representante da família Ramphastidae. A característica mais notável da espécie é o grande bico amarelo-alaranjado, que pode medir 22 cm de comprimento. A língua é fina e comprida. É um animal onívoro, alimenta-se de insetos, lagartos, ovos, filhotes de outras aves e, principalmente, frutos. Seu hábito alimentar é diurno. Costuma descer ao solo para aproveitar-se dos frutos e sementes que cairam das árvores. Zoológico de Catanduva.
