David Swain, a Davison, Mich. native, shot swishes through the net during the second day of tryouts for the All Army basketball team in the Blue Mountain Sports Complex October 13, 2012 on Fort Indiantown Gap. The players are chosen from over 300 applications sent to the head coach, Maj. David Smith. “We have three weeks to get this team of 22 down to 12 so that we can go to San Antonio on [Nov. 3] and compete in the Armed Forces Basketball Championship,” he said.
