Description
English: Advertisement for the Black Shells sold by U.S. Cartridge Co. Suggest buyers conduct the following tests using their shells:

"Test the Primer. Prove that the strong, voluminous primer and double-size flash passage of The Black Shells give quicker action. Test Penetration and Velocity. Penetration is range and killing power. Velocity is speed. The more velocity the less "lead" you need in aiming. Test the Waterproofing. The Black Shells are waterproof. Wet weather, dropping shells in a leaky boat bottom or exposing them to rain, won't affect their firing or the smoothness with which they work and eject in pump or automatic."
