English: A boy dons a blue wig as children play in a temporary playground in Troyville, Johannesburg. Hours earlier the park had been littered with broken glass, until members of the Hummingbird Play Association and local kids cleaned it up and created a temporary playground utopia. The playful occupation of the park aimed to demonstrate through the act of playing children's right to the city, in an urban space notoriously unwelcoming to them. The children named the dens they made from fluttering chiffon, bamboo sticks and palm fronds 'Fox Palaces', echoing the adult palaces of the skyscrapers that loomed behind them and including themselves as regal characters in the story of the City of Gold.
