Summary

[edit]
Description
English: A notice explains these reliefs came from the frieze of the temple of Athena in Assos (built 525-540 BC), at the time the largest of the Troas area and the only one where Doric and Ionic styles are used. Fragments of the frieze are also in Paris and Boston.
