| Description |
English: Auxin (red dots) accumulates on the shadow side. Auxin has an opposite effect in the root compared to the stem in the seedling: in the root, growth is inhibited on the side where auxin is present so that the root bends into the soil, while in the stem auxin stimulates the growth of cells causing the stem to bend upward towards the light.
Nederlands: Auxine (rode stipjes) hoopt zich op aan de schaduwzijde. Auxine heeft een tegenovergesteld effect in de wortel vergeleken met de steel van de kiemplant: in de wortel wordt de groei juist geïnhibeerd aan die kant waar zich auxine bevindt zodat de wortel de grond in buigt, terwijl in de steel auxine de groei van de cellen aan die zijde stimuleert waardoor de steel omhoog buigt, naar het licht toe.
Italiano: L'auxina (punti rossi) si accumula sul lato in ombra. L'auxina ha un effetto opposto nella radice rispetto allo stelo nella piantina: nella radice la crescita è inibita sul lato dove è presente l'auxina in modo che la radice si pieghi nel terreno, mentre nello stelo l'auxina stimola la crescita delle cellule provocando lo stelo di piegarsi verso l'alto verso la luce. |
