Nederlands: Armsieraad. De armband is hol en eindigt aan beide uiteinden in een rozenknop.
Volgens Dhr. van Renselaar, die van januari 1958 tot april 1961 voor studie in Suriname verbleef, is deze armband een sieraad dat oorspronkelijk door Hindostaanse vrouwen werd gedragen, maar tegenwoordig ook veel door Creoolse vrouwen en meisjes. Mevrouw Schols, de verkoopster, kreeg de inheemse naam van Dhr. C.R. Singh. Volgens een bezoeker aan het Tropenmuseum in mei 1953, J. Graart C.S.S.R., is de wetenschappelijk verantwoorde schrijfwijze ghughru of ghungru, doch dit is geen armband maar een enkelband met belletjes. Volgens hem is behra een massieve gladronde armband.
