Dronningens gate 29 i juni 1964. Huset var først brukt av Vår Frues menighet som skole. Etter 1887 ble Ellen Ofstads håndgjerningsskole flyttet hit. Deretter ble den brukt som kommunens husholdningsskole fra starten av 1919. Gården er bygd etter 22. januar 1842. Trondheim husmorskole 1909-69, drevet av Sara Løken. En avdeling ble på denne adressen til 1987.

ELEN OFSTADS KVINDELIGE HAANDGJERNINGSSKOLE ble opprettet i 1883 og fikk i 1887 lokaler i Dronningens gt. 29. Elen Ofstad, som bodde på Østmarken, startet skolen på privat basis, men fikk tidlig kommunalstøtte, og da hun ved begynnelsen av århundret trakk seg tilbake som dens leder, ble skolen overtatt av kommunen som en del av husmorskolen. Da Trondheim Yrkesskole ble reorganisert i nye bygg på Brundalen etter krigen, ble håndgjernings- eller husflidslinjen utskilt med en avdeling på Valsetbakken ved Jonsvannet og en på Brundalen, og disse fikk navnet Elen Ofstads skole.
