The new macadam mountain road to the Summit Hotelhas a maximum grade of ten per cent (mostly under that grade),is twenty feet wide, and yields beautiful views. This excellent hotel is only forty miles from Hartford viaSpringfield, Holyoke and South Hadlcy, passing en route MountHolyoke College. Mount Holyoke is only two miles from North-ampton, and is on the direct main route to Vermont and the WhiteMountains. Trolley patrons will be met by our automobiles at Hadley andSouth Hadley centers, and at the Union Station in Northamptonwhen ordered by telephone or letter in advance. Patrons fromAmherst will be met at Hadley center. Hotel rates are $2.50 and $3.00 per day. Reasonable rates givento boarders. Special week-end rates—Saturday p. m. to Mondaya. m.—$4.
