Summary

[edit]
Description We took a ferry across the wide Tagus River to Almada, and walked up and up and up through the town (a bit rougher around the edges than Lisbon) to the statue, which is modeled after Rio's Christ the Redeemer statue. Appropriate since Brazil is a former Portuguese colony.
