English: Trinity Court, Sidmouth. Apartment building in The Esplanade, facing the English Channel. The apartments are numbered 1-12 and 14-31. The absence of a number 13 is an example of triskaidekaphobia, a fear of (using) the number 13, based on the superstition that the number brings bad luck. This building is on the location of a structure featuring as "Afflick's Garage" in the Miss Marple tv episode "Sleeping Murder" (1987). |
