English: Guru Gobind Singh Marg is the route taken by the Tenth Guru, Sahibe-e-Kamal Guru Gobind Singh from Anandpur Sahib to Talwandi Sabo covering

This Marg has got a very significant place in the history of Sikhs and Punjab. The Guru transformed the lives of the people on the way and instilled courage and new energy in the lives of the people. Guru Gobind Singh Marg in was inaugurated on April 10, 1973 at a state-level function at Anandpur Sahib by the then Chief Minister of Punjab - Giani Zail Singh amidst great rejoicing and fanfare. A Mahan Yatra started from Anandpur on April 10, 1973 and reached Damdama Sahib on Baisakhi, April 13, 1973. This highway was constructed, connecting 91 shrines and twenty Dashmesh pentagonal pillars on the route with the inscriptions of the sacred verses/teachings of the great Guru in Punjabi, Hindi, English and Urdu.
