Summary

[edit]
Description
English: Part of a gallo-roman cemetary found in Triguères, Loiret, France, in the 1850's. The rest of the cemetary has been built over. This cemetary is at the foot of a hill crowned with a celtic oppidum - a good contender for being the Vellaunodunum mentioned by Cesar in his Commentaries, with its gallo-roman temple, two therms, numerous houses small and large, an aqueduc, etc.
