Description
English: Trig point on Painswick Beacon View to the north-west from the trig point of Painswick Beacon. This spot offers a good view of the Severn valley. In the middle distance is Robinswood Hill, to the right (behind the trig point) is the city of Gloucester, the line of the Malvern Hills forming the boundary between Herefordshire and Worcestershire can be seen on the horizon to the right, and May Hill, and its clump of trees, and the northern edge of the Forest of Dean is on the horizon to the left. In the valley beyond Gloucester a flooded River Severn is just visible.
