English: Trig Pillar, Warrendale Knotts. Situated to the west of Attermire Scar at 440 metres above sea level. The pillar (known as "Langcliffe" by Trigpointing UK) is partly buried within a collapsed stone shelter. Locating it makes for a pleasant, if strenuous, deviation from the footpath and the views from the top are stunning. View SW over the Ribble Valley. |
