Description
Deutsch: Trier, "Rotes Haus", erbaut im Jahre 1684 von dem Baumeister Wolfgang Stuppeler im Auftrag von Johann Wilhelm Polch. Die untere Inschrift lautet: "ANTE ROMAN TREVIRIS STETIT ANNIS MILLE TRECENTIS PERSTET ET ÆTERNA PACE FRUATUR" (Vor Rom stand Trier eintausend und dreihundert Jahre. Möge es weiter bestehen und sich eines ewigen Friedens erfreuen.) Die Figur zeigt den Hl. Anonius von Padua, die Inschrift darüber lautet: "AUXILIUM SUIS CONFIDENTIBUS" (Er (Antonius) gibt Hilfe denen, die auf ihn vertrauen)
Français : Trèves, "Maison Rouge", construite en 1684 par le maître d'œuvre Wolfgang Stuppeler pour le compte de Johann Wilhelm Polch. L'inscription inférieure se lit comme suit: «ANTE ROMAN TREVIRIS STETIT ANNIS MILLE TRECENTIS PERSTET ET ÆTERNA APCE FRUATUR» (Trèves érigée Trois Mille Ans Avant Rome. Quelle puisse continuer d'exister et de jouir de la paix éternelle.). La figure montre Saint Antoine de Padoue. L'inscription ci-dessus se lit comme suit: "AUXILIUM SUIS CONFIDENTIBUS" (Il (Antoine) donne de l'aide à ceux qui lui font confiance)
