Summary
[edit]DescriptionTrial of Lord W Nevill 1907 (3a).JPG |
Newsprint reproduction of a court sketch of the 1907 trial of William Beauchamp Nevill (1860-1939), son of William Nevill, 1st Marquess of Abergavenny. Nevill was imprisoned on forgery and fraud charges in 1898, and later wrote Penal Servitude (1903). He was imprisoned for a second time for theft in 1907. Detail, supposedly showing Nevill in the dock, although in reality he was clean-shaven with a very slight moustache. |
