Description
English: US Navy (USN) Sailors who are members of the Kitty Hawk-Battle Cats, the baseball team from the USN Aircraft Carrier USS KITTY HAWK (CV 63), pose for a group photograph with two players from the Sapporo Nippon "Fighters" baseball team in Sapporo, Japan. While in port, Sailors have a chance to sightsee, shop, enjoy recreational activities and participate in community relation projects with their host nationals. The USS KITTY HAWK demonstrates power projection and sea control as the USN only permanently, forward-deployed aircraft carrier.
