English: Trewalter/Trewallter Llwyd burial chamber A collapsed burial chamber with huge capstone and a single orthostat leaning against up it.
This site has been sadly neglected and treated without respect: a wire netting fence has been pulled around it and briars left to grow out from the hedge bank behind. In addition the public footpath to it from Trewalter farm, along a sunken lane, has been wired off and allowed to become impassable. There is no signing at all. Direct access from the main road above and space to view the grave would be a huge improvement here and allow people to visit without wandering around the fields: why don't landowners realize that easing public access works in their interests too? |
