| Description |
English: Trent and Mersey Canal towards Alrewas Lock, Staffordshire. The picture was taken from Gaskell's Bridge (No 46). Alrewas Lock, which lowers the water level to match that of the River Trent is about two hundred metres ahead. The large sign 1563882 warning navigators to be aware of the river conditions is on the right of the lock. |
