English: Trent and Mersey Canal east of Weston-on-Trent, Derbyshire. Cow Pasture Bridge, no doubt originally built to allow field access from Weston Grange farm, now also a bridleway to the banks of the River Trent at King's Mills. Until the middle of the twentieth century there was a chain ferry across the Trent at that point. |
