| Description |
English: Trent and Mersey Canal at Shobnall, Staffordshire. The pipe bridge across the canal carries the message, "The home of Marston's Pedigree", the brewery being to the left of the canal, and well worth a visit if you can arrange one. Shobnall Basin is off to the right through the brick bridge. This was originally the Bond End Canal to the River Trent, built for the benefit of the Burton breweries before road transport of beer was practical. The Jannel Cruisers hire company operates in there now. |
