Description
Slovenčina: Pohľad na mesto a cestný most okolo roku 1900. Zo stavbou mosta začala 27. novembra 1896 budapeštianska pobočka firmy Gregersen. Šesť metrov široký a 258 metrov dlhý most so štyrmi, osem metrov vysokými oceľovými oblúkmi bol dokončený na jeseň roku 1897. Oceľovú konštrukciu na most dodali železiarne z maďarského Diósgyőru. Slúžil do apríla roku 1945, kedy ho zničili ustupujúce nacistické vojská. V pozadí fotografie vidieť piaristický kostol, mestská veža a farský kostol.
