Summary
[edit]DescriptionTremella globispora D.A. Reid 393507 2013-12-22.jpg |
Tremella globispora D.A. Reid [as ‘globospora’] Image location: Tualatin Hills Nature Park, Beaverton, Oregon, USA Found by Myxomop. Growing on twigs, 3-5 mm thick. Fruitbodies up to 4 mm across. Microscopy. There were several kinds of cells, quite confusing for a guy inexperienced in jellies. Many, including hyphae, had a pronounced granular context in IKI. I was unable to identify any spores in 3 mounts. Hypobasidia 16 × 15, with four epibasidia 3-4 microns wide. Hyphae 1-2 microns wide. T. globispora is just a guess, the best match with what’s on Matchmaker/Key Councel key. Recognized by sight
