English: Trap points at Leamington Spa railway station This set of trap points is at the down (west) end of platform 4 at Leamington Spa station. The line beside platform 4 is a dead-end bay for local services and the trap points protect the (London-bound) up line from unauthorised traffic movements from the bay. In the photo, the trap points are set to derail a vehicle approaching the through line. |
