Description
English: U.S. Army Spc. Denise Sonnier, from Crowley, La., a gunner who is serving with the Louisiana National Guard's 1086th Transportation Company, Task Force Muleskinner, prepares the M240B machine gun on her mine resistant ambush protected vehicle's common remotely operated weapon station system May 20. The unit was preparing for a 400-mile, round-trip convoy from Bagram Air Field to Forward Operating Base Warrior down one of Afghanistan's most dangerous roads, Highway 1, as security for more than a dozen Afghan-owned cargo trucks.
