Summary
[edit]DescriptionTransformer above firestops.jpg | Transformer cabinets/US power plant. Transformers often sit on fire-resistance rated concrete floor slabs that with big openings below to allow conductors to penetrate. These openings must be firestopped to restore the rating of the floor. In unionised North American construction sites, this work is done by composite crews between insulators and electricians, where insulators seal the openings and electricians make sure the work is done safely. | ||
