| Description | E307MSG is an Alexander bodied Leyland Olympian which was new to Lothian Regional Transport. This bus is now with Transdev York as their fleetnumber 4012 for the York City Sightseeing operation. It's seen beside Clifford Tower as it operates on the tour as it has done for many seasons- very soon Tridents will displace these buses; it's somewhat ironic that quite legally they can continue to operate step-entrance non PSVAR buses on the tour if they took the drivers off domestic hours and deregistered the route as a local service but it's obviously cheaper for them to replace the buses- with the tour being £13 a go I suppose they make enough profit even on a quiet Monday in March. |
