Four years ago he first noticed a curved spot on eacheye which has gradually increased in size. Two years agohe went into the Marines and passed the sight test. Fiveweeks ago, he stated, he was discharged on account ofdefect of sight in the right eye. He shows no signs ofhereditary syphilis either in his physiognomy or teeth. Fig. 5.
