ith as much accuracy as could be obtained. Fia. 1.—A larpe semilunar haemorrhage, chiefly below the yellow spot, witha linear margin directed downwards and outwards. A circular whitish spot, with a piuk centre (? slight hsemorrhage), is situated below this, and aroundboth there was some dark mottling. A tortuous vein (reproduced rather toolaige) appeared to be lost in the upper border of the hsemorrhage, but therelative depth of the two could not be ascertained. Fio. 2.—The site of the hsemorrhage is occupied by a smaller white patchwith more irregular margin, round which is some deep pigmentation, due tothe blood colouring matter. Either end of the semiluunr patch was still ofred colour, and the white spot is seen to have become smaller. In additionthere is a fresh white spot above the site of the hajmorrhage. Fig. 3,—In the region of the former haemorrhage can now be detectedonly black pigment irregularly distributed, and further outwards are anumber of biilliantly white spots.
