| Description |
English: Tramway Museum, Crich This tram comes from Prague, which is now in the Czech Republic. The tram (No. 180) was donated to the TMS by the Prague authorities, but had to be collected from Prague, so a group of TMS members accompanied the low-loader that was sent across Europe to get the tram. But this was 1968, the year of the Prague Spring, and the party only just made it (with the tram) to the border, hours before the Russian troups entered the country and forbade any movement in or out. |
