| Description |
English: Tramway Museum, Crich This is car No 60 from Johannesburg. When it arrived in Crich, it had small metal plates which could be attached to the dash to show whether the car could be used by Whites only, or Non-Whites. These plates were not displayed on the car at Crich as they would be regarded as offensive in Britain, and indeed also in South Africa now.
At the left is a modern Glasgow car, and behind on the right, one from Sheffield. |
