Summary
[edit]DescriptionTram on Blackpool Promenade - geograph.org.uk - 1603267.jpg |
English: Tram on Blackpool Promenade Car No 632 is in all-over advertising livery for Wilson's Beers. It was a standing joke among drinkers in the north-west how the brewery had spent most of the 1970s painting out all the Wilson's signs and replacing them with Watney's. But the unpopularity of some of the Watney's branded beers, such as 'Red Barrel', led to reversal of policy, and the 1980s was spent painting out all the Watney's signs and replacing them with Wilson's! |
