Description
English: A bit of a change of plan today. Our trip to Central Finland was thwarted by illness in our designated driver, and it's too hot and long a drive to take a chance!

Instead, we nipped into town to see the shiny metal balls, which have featured in this photostream before.

Whilst out, we bought fabulous coffee and interesting jaffa cakes, and I had my Hesburger inauguration.

To my great sadness, Carroll's burgers, one of my favourite reasons to come to Helsinki, have now closed their remaining few branches, and the Carroll's megaclub is no more.

Instead, my only alternative was to risk a Hesburger Megaburger. Blessedly it turned out to be a near identical offering, though perhaps not quite as fabulous. I shall try another next time to further assess them. ;)

On the way out from Stockmann we saw this lovely old tram, which was clearly pulling some kind of special charter as it's a historic vehicle, equivalent to a vintage loco if you will.

Today I declare it to be slightly warmer than yesterday and massively more humid. Being outside was not a huge amount of fun...

Public domain
The Public Domain Mark (PDM) is not a copyright license, but a symbol used to indicate that a work is in the public domain. When it is applied by the author or the copyright holder, community consensus has decided such works as being public domain in the US and countries where it is legally possible to release own work to the public domain. In the countries where this is not possible, the copyright status of the work remains undetermined.
If a file is tagged with Public Domain Mark by someone other than the author or the copyright holder, a more specific copyright tag such as one found at Commons:Copyright tags/General public domain must be applied. If this is your own work, please use {{Cc-zero}} instead.
