Summary
[edit]DescriptionTrains passing, near Wolfhall, Burbage - geograph.org.uk - 406724.jpg |
English: Trains passing, near Wolfhall, Burbage The train at the left is a passenger express heading away from the viewpoint towards the south-west. The other is an aggregate train approaching the photographer and carrying a cargo of limestone towards London. The trains are each tilting from the vertical because the tracks have been banked on the bends to enable higher speeds to be maintained. |
