When you are on a trip to photograph trains, as Roger Puta was several times in Canada, you can't wait for the weather to get better. Roger purposely went to Canada a few times in March, no doubt somewhat for the snow on the ground, and a few times in September/October for the fall colors. Here is a few minutes in March 1980, probably late afternoon, but Roger would get up early if he had planned for a shot early in the day. Here is CN 2033, a C630M, with caboose 79733 at Coteau Jct. eastbound on the CN Kingston Sub. in Les Coteaux, QC which is a suburb of Montreal, in March 1980. |
