Description
English: Image of a couple housebreaking or taming an oversize squirrel with a collar around its neck. "Feki" is inscribed below the animal, followed by corrupted Chinese characters for song shu, i.e. "squirrel". Monkey beside lady observes the training. Outside, a hunter with four dogs and horn and club in hand, chase a deer. Image from p. 262 of Kircher’s La Chine.
