Summary

[edit]
Description As a train lover, I try and take a peek at the railways in whichever country I travel to. The total absence of railways in some countries really upsets me. And having read that there is a single line line in operation of the Sabah State Railway around Kota Kinabalu, I simply had to check it out. So here we are at Stesen Tanjung Aru (don't you love those Malay spellings? Stesen for Station!). I was greeted by this disused diesel locomotive coupled to a traincar, functioning as a store of sorts. Alongside is another disused car functioning as a store. (Kota Kinabalu, East Malaysia, Nov. 2013)
