Description |
English: Beyond the parking lot and a low stone wall, a narrow trail leads through dense vegetation. Brinegar Cabin - Doughton Park. The trailhead to Cedar Ridge and Bluffs Mountain trails is accessed from the parking lot at the site. The trailhead access contributes to the Parkway construction period, when many features were added that improved the site as an interpretive stop for parkway visitors. These design features reflect the style and plan of park development along much of the Blue Ridge Parkway.
