Summary

[edit]
Description
English: Heavy rains and runoff in late March 2020 have eroded the paved trail at Black Hand Gorge in east-central Ohio. The yellowish-brown rocks in the little gully (click on the photo once or twice to zoom in) are Black Hand Sandstone, a thick Lower Mississippian siliciclastic unit inferred to be an incised valley fill deposit.
