Panam City, also known as "the lost city".This city was established in the late 19th century.This is situated at the Sonargaon Upazila of Narayanganj District. It was the most important trading center of cotton fabrics during the British period. Today this area is protected by the department of archaeology of Bangladesh. It is seemed Hindu talukdars (rich business person) select the place as their residence town. Panam Nagar, the elegant structures was rising in the last quarter of the 13th century.
