Description
English: Kaleerey Ceremony is held on the day of wedding or day before the wedding. Kaleerey are umbrella-shaped hangings decorated with bells, shells, coconut, pearls golden or silver colored beads. Tied by the bride's family & friends, these are a part of Punjabi wedding outfit. It is believed that if a part of 'Kaleerey' breaks and falls on the person sitting in front of bride, that person will get married next.
ਪੰਜਾਬੀ: ਕਲੀਰੇ ਦੀ ਰਸਮ ਵਿਆਹ ਤੋਂ ਇੱਕ ਦਿਨ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ। ਕਲੀਰੇ ਓਹ ਲਟਕਨ ਹੁੰਦੇ ਹਨ ਜੋ ਘੰਟੀਆਂ, ਜੁੱਟ, ਮੋਤੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਸੁਨਹਿਰੀ ਜਾਂ ਚਾਂਦੀ ਦੇ ਰੰਗ ਦੇ ਮਣਕਿਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਸੱਜੇ ਹੁੰਦੇ ਹਨ। ਇਹ ਲਾੜੀ ਦੇ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਅਤੇ ਦੋਸਤਾਂ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਬੰਨ੍ਹੇ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ। ਇਹ ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਵਿਆਹ ਦੇ ਪਹਿਰਾਵੇ ਦਾ ਹਿੱਸਾ ਹੈ। ਮੰਨਿਆ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਜੇਕਰ 'ਕਲੀਰੇ' ਦਾ ਕੁਝ ਹਿੱਸਾ ਦੁਲਹਨ ਦੇ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਬੈਠੇ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ 'ਤੇ ਟੁੱਟ ਕੇ ਡਿੱਗਦਾ ਹੈ, ਤਾਂ ਅਗਲਾ ਉਸ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਦਾ ਵਿਆਹ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ।
हिन्दी: कलीरे समारोह शादी के दिन या उससे एक दिन पहले आयोजित किया जाता है। ये घंटियाँ, शंख, नारियल, मोती सुनहरे या चांदी के रंग के मोतियों से सजाए गए लटकन हैं। दुल्हन के परिवार और दोस्तों द्वारा बांधे गए, ये पंजाबी शादी की पोशाक का एक हिस्सा हैं। ऐसा माना जाता है कि अगर 'कलीरे' का एक हिस्सा टूटकर दुल्हन के सामने बैठे व्यक्ति पर गिर जाए तो अगली शादी उसी व्यक्ति की होगी।
