Description
English: The traditional wedding women's costume is home-made from cotton and woolen fabrics woven by the girl. After the wedding, the woman wore the costume only on major holidays. The shirt is woven from white cotton fabric. The embroidery on the bosom and shoulders is called "Bazur" and that is why the shirt is called "Bazurena riza". The embroideries on the bottom of the shirt are called "Karamfili". The vest (eleche) is made of imported fabrics and is filled with sheep wool. The apron is woven from home-woven wool and is very firm. It's called a "Korava" apron. The embroidery technique is called "Kusano". The belts are woven from thick threads and are sewn with glass beads. The necklace is called "Cordon with pendars", the bracelet is called "Slingshot", and the silver jewelry on the cross is called "Buckles" or "Chengeli".
