Description
English: Anggota keluarga mengangkat peti kecil yang berisi tulang-belulang leluhur selama ritual Mangokal Holi di Desa Sigaol Simbolon, Palipi, Samosir pada 26 Juni 2019. Salah satu tradisi Batak Toba yang telah dilestarikan hingga kini masih dipertahankan dan dilaksanakan dari generasi ke generasi adalah Mangokal Holi, yang secara harfiah berarti menggali tulang leluhur dipindahkan ke situs baru dalam bentuk monumen yang terbuat dari batu atau semen.
