Reportage / Serie : Hohenloher Land English: A LANZ D 1706 "semi-diesel" with 17 hp struggles with two fully loaded hay wagons - "modern", rubber-tyred at the front, but still a ladder wagon with iron-tyred wooden spoke wheels at the rear: Photo in Bächlingen, Langenburger Straße (L1036) in 1954. The tractor driver in a straw hat and his companion have spotted the photographer, presumably Willem van de Poll, and are looking over at him with interest. After starting up, the LANZ D1706 emits its first clouds of diesel from the vertical exhaust pipe; even larger, brown to black clouds of diesel are likely to have been produced as the long load drives away...
Deutsch: Ein LANZ D 1706 "Halbdiesel" mit 17 PS müht sich ab mit zwei voll beladenen Heuwagen - vorne "modern", gummi-bereift, hinten aber noch ein Leiterwagen mit eisenbereiften Holzspeichenrädern: Foto in Bächlingen, Langenburger Straße (L1036) im Jahr 1954. Der Traktorfahrer mit Strohhut und sein Begleiter haben den Fotographen, vermutlich Willem van de Poll erspäht, und blicken interessiert zu ihm herüber. Der LANZ D1706 stößt nach dem Anlassen seine ersten Dieselwolken aus dem senkrechten Abgasrohr aus, noch größere, braune bis schwarze Dieselwolken dürften bei der Wegfahrt der langen Fuhre entstanden sein... |
