Description

The small ensemble of windmills and traction engine was mentioned in a copy of GDRF review in 1989, so I headed out of Neubrandenburg on the bus to view the collection. <a href="http://amt-woldegk.de/">Woldegk</a> has re-branded itself the town of windmills. Not surprising because the town beside the highest point - the Helpter Berg - of the flat Mecklenburg regions, with its peak at 179m. This mill is the Muehle, a technical monument. THere were two Budde mills in Woldegk...this one is Otto Budde's.

In the background <a href="http://www.kleiekotzer.com/html/woldegk_6.html">WIlly Ehlert's mill</a> which was converted into a cafe in 1988, and is still without sails.
