| Description |
English: Tracks into Ballyholme Bay Once upon a time there was a shipbuilders yard on the Seacliff Road in Bangor. These tracks, near Ballyholme Yacht Club, are all that remain. I think that boats would have been wheeled down on rail-mounted carts into the water. The boat yard closed and was demolished around 1990 (precise details welcomed) and a nursing home now stands in its place. |
