Summary
[edit]DescriptionTrackbed of the Harlaxton ironstone railway - geograph.org.uk - 1466692.jpg |
English: Trackbed of the Harlaxton ironstone railway. The last steep curve up the escarpment to the railway's headquarters north of Gorse Lane and the main quarries. The railway once continued behind where I am standing to the reversing point at Swine Hill (SK8832). The farm track it has now become follows the 1970s lorry cut-off northwards and rejoins the former railway trackbed at SK8732. |
