| Description |
English: Track to Watlee and Valla Field A newly erected sign warns that the track ( I doubt it anyone ever considered it a 'road') is hazardous, although I don't think it has deteriorated in recent months. The first part of the track was mainly used by fisherman for access to Loch of Watlee. The track then continued to peat banks on Valla Field, none of which are currently active. A further extension of the track was built by the MoD to access the TACAN radome on the summit of Valla Field, although the TACAN was removed soon after RAF Saxa Vord was mothballed. |
